Friends, we're currently practicing our waves.... Longview PAWS is HITTING the ROAD again Monday, 6/15 at 5 AM with a Van full of Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center shelter pups making their way to our incredible rescue partner Wayside Waifs in Kansas City.

Our dedicated Volunteer drivers Joe & Gary will head out with 32 of our LACAC dogs/puppies- Rousey, Ali, Clyde, Snow, Twix, Rolo, Nevada, Kansas, California, New York, Bonkers, Mindy, Candied Pecan, Buttercup, Spider Monkey, Cal Naughton Jr, Lucy, Carley, Susan, Ricky Bobby, Shae, Molly, Angie, Prince Eric, Aladdin, Cinderella, Snow White, Simba, Pumba, Aurora, Olaf, Mulan giving them their chance!!

We're looking for TRANSPORT SPONSORS for our "OPERATION PAW-SOME" Transport Project.

A $30 SPONSORSHIP of each animal will cover:

✔️ Fuel & Van Maintenance for the journey (with fuel costs at an incredible premium right now- this is crucial)
✔️ Food and supplies for the road
✔️ Health certificates and travel prep
✔️ Comfort and care every mile of the way

When you sponsor an animal (or better yet an entire trip), you’re doing more than funding a trip—you’re giving homeless pets in East Texas the chance to start a new life.

PAWSOME FRIENDS, we know we keep SOUNDING the ALARM but INTAKES haven't STOPPED. It's JUNE 10th, that's only 7 open intake days in June at Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center and 161 ANIMALS have entered an already overcrowded shelter. LET THAT SINK IN!!!

🐾 JUNE is FOSTER a SHELTER PET MONTH!!! 🐾

Have you ever thought about fostering, but talked yourself out of it? You're not alone. Some of the most common reasons people hesitate to foster include:

❌ "I don't have enough space."
❌ "I'll get too attached."
❌ "I don't have enough time."
❌ "I don't have experience."

The truth is many of these concerns are just myths that keep lifesaving foster homes sitting empty while shelter kennels are full. Fostering looks different for everyone and we’re here to provide guidance, support and resources along the way. Short-term foster placement can make a life-changing difference for a dog in need. As short-term as 2 days to 2 weeks... that's ALL WE NEED!!

RIGHT NOW is the PUR-FECT CHANGE to dip your toe and see it's a good fit for your lifestyle. We have a transport leaving Monday, 6/15 at 5 AM. We need to get these puppies out of the shelter and into a temporary foster TODAY thru this SUNDAY at 2 PM. We provide food, meds, crates and anything else you may need.

FOSTER REQUIREMENTS:

☑️ must live within 30 mins of LACAC.
☑️all animals in the home but be UTD on shots and spayed/neutered. will need to provide a vet reference upon request.
☑️must have a safe space INSIDE for these puppies to stay.
