This month, we’re proud to recognize Armando as our Employee of the Month! With over five years of roofing experience and two strong years with WeatherGuard, Armando continues to show dedication, leadership, and a drive for excellence. Outside of work, he enjoys working out and spending quality time with his family—who also serve as his biggest motivation to stay safe and push forward every day. He sees a future of growth not only for himself but for his entire team. Armando embraces the responsibilities that come with leadership, recognizing that being a foreman is about more than just the title—it’s about managing stress, emotions, communication, energy, and time. He’s confident in his path and committed to leading by example. We’re lucky to have him on the crew!

With a renewed focus on “Employee spotlight”, the winner of Septembers Alvin Hurley Award goes to Alex Alden. We would like to thank Mr. Alden for his hard work and dedication to safety. Alex’s foreman described him as a dependable, honest, and straightforward leader and last week I got a chance to catch up with Alex and ask him a few questions. When asked about when he enjoys most working on his crew and at Weatherguard he said he enjoys that his crew really works together and they’re good listeners. Alex says in the next 5 years he sees himself staying with Weatherguard and moving up into a lead role on a crew. Alex claims the best advice he’s heard is to just smile and nod
