Trinity Lutheran Church

Thank you Pastor Craig for the 17+ years you have faithfully served God and his people at Trinity and in the community.

As you enter into retirement, may you enjoy the new opportunities and the freedom to discover what God has in store for you next.

You go with our gratitude, our prayers and best wishes.

We remember and we pause, reflect and pray.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts to remember the profound loss on September 11th. We lift up the souls of those who perished, the families who continue to grieve, and the first responders who displayed extraordinary courage. Grant them peace, comfort and strength. May we honor their memory by living with compassion, courage and unity. May Your light guide us through sorrow and inspire hope in our hearts. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up every person affected by the fires. We pray for those who have lost their homes, their belongings, and the places they hold dear. Surround them with Your peace, comfort, and strength during this difficult time. Remind them that even in the midst of devastation, they are never alone because You are with them.

Lord, protect the firefighters, first responders, medical teams, volunteers, and everyone working tirelessly to keep others safe. Give them wisdom, endurance, courage, and protection as they serve their communities.

We also pray for families who have been evacuated, those waiting anxiously for news, and those grieving unimaginable loss. Provide shelter for the displaced, hope for the discouraged, and compassionate hearts in neighbors and strangers alike. Let communities come together to support one another with generosity and love.

Father, we ask for mercy over the land. Send favorable weather, calm the winds, and help bring these fires under control. Restore what has been damaged, renew the forests and wildlife, and bring healing to every community that has been affected.
In Jesus’ name we pray,

Amen.

Happy 250th America!

Celebrating with our community

Let us pray. Holy Trinity, one God, you show us the splendor of diversity and the beauty of unity in your own divine life. On this 250th anniversary of our country's independence, make us, who come from many tribes and nations, with many languages and customs, a united people that delights in our many different gifts. Defend our liberties, and give those whom we have entrusted with authority the spirit of wisdom, that there might be justice and peace in our land. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our sovereign and our Savior. Amen.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by the chemical implosion. We mourn with the community the loss of life and grieve alongside them. We pray that God grant spiritual healing to those in mourning. We ask for physical healing and strength to those injured. This we ask in Jesus name. Amen

One of the petitions from today's prayers...

On this Memorial Day weekend, we lovingly commend into your care all the beloved dead, especially those who gave their life in service to their country. Keep their memories fresh and bright. Spur us tondeeds of faithfulness, generosity and self-sacrifice. Hasten the days when wars shall cease, evil is vanquished, every tear is wiped away, and you are truly all in all.
