When war disrupts daily life, access to basic medical care becomes one of the first and most devastating losses. For many families across Ukraine, even simple medications can mean the difference between suffering and survival.

At Open Arms Ukraine, we recently had the opportunity to step in and provide critical assistance—helping purchase and deliver much-needed medicine to individuals who otherwise had no access.

It’s easy to feel like small actions don’t matter in the face of something as large as a war.
But we see the truth every day: they do.

At Open Arms Ukraine, your support has recently helped us:
-Provide essential medicine to individuals in urgent need
-Help a young woman move into safe housing near her job
-Offer stability where there was uncertainty

These aren’t abstract efforts.
They are real, immediate changes in people’s lives.

Today marks four years since the full-scale war began in Ukraine.
Four years of loss, courage, displacement, resilience, and unimaginable strength.
Four years that have changed millions of lives forever.
Today is also a National Day of Prayer in Ukraine, a day to pause, to remember, and to ask for peace.
At Open Arms Ukraine, we hold close the children, families, caregivers, churches, refugees and communities who continue to endure this war every single day. We pray for protection over the vulnerable, healing for the wounded, comfort for those grieving, and strength for those who refuse to give up hope.
May peace come swiftly.
May justice prevail.

As the war still rages on in Ukraine, we couldn't be more thankful for all of you who give, pray and support so we can help those in Ukraine. Every little bit makes a huge difference and we are so thankful!!

Our final region to cover in prayer. Pray for Kyiv and the surrounding region, its leaders, families, defenders, and all those rebuilding their lives in the shadow of war. May strength, protection, and hope surround them today.

As we come to the final region in our prayer journey, please continue to lift up all of Ukraine, trusting that every prayer sown over these weeks will bring comfort, courage, and hope to a nation still fighting for peace.

Pray for the Volyn region. Ask for peace along the borders and protection over all who live and serve there.

Pray for Rivne, its schools, churches, farmers, families, and communities supporting one another through hardship.

Lift up the Zhytomyr region in prayer. Many serve in the military from this area. Pray for their safety and for the families waiting for them.

Pray for the Ivano-Frankivsk region. May its communities be filled with peace, hope, and the resilience to endure.
