Dept. of Animal Services (all 6 shelters), OC Animal Care, Inland Valley Humane Society & Riverside County Dept. of Animal Services (3 shelters).

Unfortunately, a large number of seniors end up dying in shelters because no one is interested in adopting them. They are often the last chosen to be adopted, and the first to be euthanized at shelters. Seniors deserve to be loved and a warm home to live out their golden years, not to die alone in a cold shelter.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀:

* Their owners got a puppy and decided they did not want the “old” dog anymore.
* Their owners were moving and chose not to take them.
* Their owners passed away and family would not or could not take them in.

𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁. 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿. 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴. 💛🐶
