Do you ever stare into your own eyes in a photo of yourself as a child? I think I’m 5 or 6 in this one. My mom told me I could wear whatever I wanted that day. I can’t remember if I wore this on purpose to annoy her, or if I was pleased with the stripes and plaid. Bold choice, I’m sure. The top with cotton candy ribbons and the bottom a bright red tartan skirt. My mom hates the color red. ⚡️🌙✨ My eyes are proud but also tired. My hair is whacky and my navy blue socks stick out like a sore thumb, ironically. I’ll never know what I was truly thinking when I landed on the but I definitely wasn’t bored.

On a recent trip to the Hawaiian Islands, Waikiki Beach to be exact, I discovered I never once missed Teams push notifications. 🌙 I ate rich, salty food that made me travel-bloaty but swam every day in the ocean. ✨ I couldn’t hang past midnight (3a Pacific) but woke with the sunrise. ⚡️ I wore whatever I wanted even though I felt flabby and soft from months of not weightlifting. 🌙 I didn’t swim with dolphins or hike 150’ waterfalls but I did wear some fun dresses I’ve been saving to wear. 🤙 Aloha, Oahu, I had so much fun!
