Cheers to 52 and loving life 🎉🎂🥳

Another trip around the sun🤍 The older I get, the more I realize that a beautiful life isn’t measured by the number of candles on the cake . . . it’s measured by the moments that make you stop and thank God that you get to be here for all of it. I love this life He has blessed me with. I love my family. My children. My grandbabies. The people I get to love so deeply. I love chasing sunsets, boarding airplanes, standing on mountaintops and going places I’ve never been. I love running until my legs are tired and my soul feels lighter. I love lifting heavy things and reminding myself that getting older doesn’t mean slowing down. I love concerts and music and laughing until my stomach hurts. I love my quiet mornings drinking my coffee and having conversations with God(that is literally my most favorite time of day)! I love having a camera in my hands + getting to freeze pieces of people’s lives that they’ll never get back. I love adventure. I love home. I love the mountains + the ocean and all the roads in between. And maybe most of all, I love who I’m becoming. Life hasn’t always looked the way I thought it would. There have been mountains + valleys, beginnings + endings, heartbreak + healing, prayers answered differently than I expected, and chapters I never saw coming. But God has been in every single one. This birthday, I’m not wishing for a different life. I’m thanking God for the one I’m living. For a strong body that carries me up mountains. For people who love me. For work that fills my heart. For airplanes to places I’ve dreamed about. For sunsets I haven’t seen yet. For memories still waiting to be made. And for another year to LIVE it. Here’s to getting older, getting stronger, loving harder, traveling farther, laughing louder, taking the picture, booking the flight, running the race, watching the sunset and never taking one ordinary day for granted. September, I love you🤍

There’s something about this month that feels like a reminder of just how incredibly blessed this life is. As a photographer, I get to travel, chase beautiful places, document love, and meet people who trust me to preserve the moments that matter most.

I’ll only be home for 8 days this entire month, and instead of wishing for more time at home, I’m choosing to be grateful for every mile, every client, every family, every wedding, every story, and every opportunity God has placed in my path.

This life isn’t perfect, but it is mine—and I know God has been intentional in every chapter. I’m thankful for the work of my hands, the people who continue to trust me with their memories, the places my camera takes me, and the people I get to love along the way.

God, thank You for a life that keeps stretching me, filling me, and reminding me that dreams really do come true when we surrender them to You.
