Nature Tales will be held at King Nature Park this week, on Thursday June 11th at 10:30am. Special thanks to the North Logan Library for their help with Nature Tales this week!

This is only a temporary location change due to SNC's summer camps being at the Nature Center this week.

The Nature Center will still be open as usual during our open hours this week, Fri-Sun, 10am-4pm!

New art exhibit opening at Stokes Nature Center!

We've had lots of amazing submissions for our art contest, all based on the beauty of our natural world. Come see all the submissions and vote for your favorite at the Nature Center!

Join us this summer for a FREE Canyon Conversations program! Learn about our canyon and the natural world, select Saturdays at 11am at the Nature Center - fun for all ages!

June 13th is our first Canyon Conversation: Things with Wings
Come learn about pollinators, ants, and fireflies. Kate Hunter is the Director of Education at Stokes Nature Center and just completed her PhD studying bees. This talk is an overview of some of the lesser-known but still exciting bees that aren't honeybees.

With our first Canyon Jams concert of the season fast-approaching, it's time to grab your season passes to make sure you have access to all of this year's returning favorites!

This year our Canyon Jams concerts feature all of the bands we get the most requests for to return. Get season passes or individual tickets now at logannature.org/canyon-jams

All outdoor concerts start at 7pm at Von Baer Park in Providence, and Lucky Slice pizza is available to preorder for each concert so you can have a picnic in the park along with your live music!

Our outdoor concert series is presented by Import Auto, Caffe Ibis, and UPR, with special thanks to Creative West (which receives support in part from the National Endowment for the Arts) and Lucky Slice.

Note: If you can't get tickets to the tour and our educational program, you are more than welcome to walk the trail around the park yourself and see if you can spot any fireflies. The tickets are just for a spot in our educational tours and guided programs, the trail around the park is free to walk anytime.

Join us for the EKO Summer Adventure Challenge where you'll dive into exciting outdoor activities all across Logan Canyon.

The fun will kick off at 10 AM with a Bike Rodeo and Outdoor Partner activities on Utah State University's Quad.
At 11:30 AM participants will be shuttled or drive themselves to a nearby activity. From mountain biking ride, to feeding hummingbirds, to hiking, to horseback riding, there is something for everyone. Sign-up your family today!

Our Forest to Fork foraged meal is back this year!

Join us Thursday, August 6th for our second Forest to Fork community event featuring a meal foraged from our natural world right here in Cache Valley. Includes a foraged dinner, as well as foraged beverages and dessert where you can try a variety of wild and native ingredients foraged by the Stokes Nature Center staff and volunteers.

Features multiple opportunities to learn more about foraging, taste tests, and live music from local artists. Enjoy a unique meal celebrating our natural world in a beautiful setting.

Join our Hummingbird Feeding Crew this summer and enjoy time up-close-and-personal with all of the Nature Center's humming visitors!

We are looking for people who are willing to donate some of their time on weekends to help us clean and refill all of our many hummingbird feeders. Duties include:
-Hummingbird feeding and feeder cleaning on the weekends, (Fri, Sat, or Sun; takes approx. a couple of hours)
-Requires working with sugar water and vinegar to help keep the feeders full and clean throughout summer. All necessary materials provided by SNC.
-You are welcome to come whenever suits you best!
