Sidewalk Snow Removal Assistance

In pursuance with the City of Logan’s goal of ensuring the public right-of-way is accessible during the winter months, all citizens are required by the following Ordinance to conduct snow and ice removal operations on all sidewalks associated with their properties or place of occupancy. Logan City Municipal Code
12.08.010: OWNER TO KEEP SIDEWALKS CLEAN AND IN REPAIR:

All owners and occupants of city lots are required to keep in repair and in condition for travel the sidewalk and bus stop adjacent to their respective lots, and to remove all weeds, brush, snow, hail, sleet, ice and other obstructions from the same. (Ord. 04-16 § 1, 2004: prior code § 15-5-3)

Especially, school children, delivery services and those with disabilities look to their neighbor and fellow citizens to help provide clear and safe sidewalks. At some point in the day, we all find ourselves on the sidewalks of Logan: be the good citizen, be the good neighbor, and do the good part. By doing your part, you are helping provide a safe walking environment for all those who enjoy, live, and work in Logan.
