Join us in the Quaking Aspen Conference Room on Saturdays from 1:15-3 PM for writing support, motivation, and education, led by USU English Department faculty and a group of part-time writing coaches. . .

We’re proud to livestream TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures in the Logan Library Community Rooms on Saturday, June 13, 2026. We will open the Logan Library Community Rooms starting at 9 AM (although the rest of the library will not be open for service until 1 PM, as usual). We will host three sessions with different talks: Session 1 will run from 9-10:30 AM; Session 2 will run from 12-1:30 PM; and the last session will be from 2-3:30 PM. Feel free to drop in for any of the sessions, or to attend the whole time!

This daylong symposium features 15+ brand-new TED Talks focused on the evolution and future of democracy, streaming live from Philadelphia during America’s 250th anniversary. We now have a Spanish book club! Join us on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 PM in Community Room A, starting in June, for a discussion led entirely in Spanish by a community volunteer.
