Student Led Projects - The Block Installation

Students in Andy Worrall's art class were asked to create a piece of art as a form of service for someone. Sereyona Creager was kind enough to complete this piece for me in order to showcase the beauty and wonder of Costa Rica! As a geography teacher I'd say she captured the biodiversity and spirit of the country perfectly!

This week is Healthy Relationships Week at Fast Forward! Today was all about developing a healthy relationship with ourselves and recognizing the good that is within each of us. To reinforce this point students wrote out "I am..." affirmations to declare what we liked about ourselves. We have the best students at FFCHS! I AM serious! ❤️

Students! We miss seeing you around the building. Teachers are available during the school day to help you out on assignments if your parents/guardians are comfortable with you coming in and you are wearing a mask. Please email your teachers to schedule a time to get some help!

Our theme this year at Fast Forward is "Be Better". Our students have come up with some rough sketches of possible designs to feature on the big board outside the lunch room! To vote for the design you'd like to see featured, leave a comment with the letter that's next to your favorite photo below!

Thanks to all who participated in our "Be Better. Smile." Project! Andy Worrall had noticed how our school was missing smiling faces due to our faces being covered with masks this year and came up with this brilliant idea! It's nice to see some happy grins free from hiding back in the building again. 😀
