We think you'll agree when we say that all parts of life are interconnected; one's home, health, education, and income are linked and each play a key role in the extent that life can truly be lived. So, in order to make sustainable improvements, we're thinking about all aspects of life. Sure, we're pretty new at this, but it quickly became obvious that everyone has something to give. š Spotlight: Support the Semuliki Batwa Pygmies with SeeeMe
š« Background: Since 2020, SeeeMe has supported the Semuliki Batwa Pygmies in Uganda, a community displaced from their ancestral land in the early 1990s. With 127 individuals, including children who face stigmatization and bullying in local schools, SeeeMeās support has been vital.
š« Our Mission: We ensure that Batwa children receive education and care at āOur Lady of Annunciationā, Bugombwa Nursery and Primary School, offers a supportive inclusive environment for their growth and learning.
š¤ Collaboration: While we coordinate with organizations like Fight for the Forgotten, our focus remains on the day-to-day needs of the Batwa, particularly in education and nutrition.
š² Urgent Needs: The rising costs due to COVID and global issues have spiked food prices. The school spends about $1700 per term on basic meals like beans and posho, but this isnāt enough. Weāve been contributing $500 per term, yet more is needed to ensure these children have access to nutritious meals, including vegetables, rice, and meat.
š Local Leadership: The Batwa community is led by King Nzito Geoffrey, with the schoolās daily operations managed by Sister Juliana Bugombwa.
š Your Contribution Matters: Every donation helps us provide better food and education for these children. Join us in making a difference! Donate now via PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=X37JNEKWRE2YA&ssrt=1701147926168

SeeeMe is an all-volunteer run nonprofit, so donations go directly towards our current projects: supporting and expanding a school in an underserved area of Uganda, microloans to help bring women and their families out of poverty, and an agricultural project for the Simuliki Batwa, one of the most marginalized people groups in all of Uganda. Link is in our bio to donate. Thank you very much for whatever you can do!

Sometimes one blanket can make all the difference. SeeeMe handed out blankets to the Batwa people in Uganda. Peace to all.

We are honored that we were able to support local Uganda nonprofit and deliver blankets to the Simuliki Batwa people. Below is a message from Moses, who runs Heart of Love Beacon:
āOn the 16th December 2021 through the support from Seeeme.org, Heart of Love Beacon was able to deliver blankets to the Batwa people of Semuliki in Bundibugyo, it should be noted that given the cold mountainous climatic condition of Bundibugyo that lies astride and within Rwenzori mountain, it is worthwhile that everyone should be able to cover themselves with warm blankets whenever they go to sleep, but it wasnāt the case with the Batwa people who couldnāt afford to buy the blankets as looking for daily food alone is a big problem.
When I spent the night in Batwa community I realized that most of the children and some adults didnāt have what to cover their bodies during the night whenever they would go to sleep, hence they would pull their T-shirts or dresses to cover their feet as they sleep in order to give some warmth.ā

Our Story
SeeeMe (Sustainable Education Economics Education) is a nonprofit seeking to better the lives of the people of Uganda. We think you'll agree when we say that all parts of life are interconnected; one's home, health, education, and income are linked and each play a key role in the extent that life can truly be lived. So, in order to make sustainable improvements, we're thinking about all aspects of life. And we're going to need everyone to donate, travel with us, help here in the US or over in Uganda.
Our main project is the Queen of Peace junior school. It is located in Mbale Uganda. The head Madam is Judith Nalube a native of Mbale. We built the school summer of 2017 and hope to continue to help for many years to come.
