Meet Boots! This sweet girl came to us as a stray and was sadly never claimed. Boots can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she starts to feel comfortable, her gentle personality begins to shine. She enjoys taking her time to explore her surroundings and would love a patient home that will help her continue to blossom into the amazing dog we know she is. Boots has not had much experience meeting new furry friends yet, but with slow and respectful introductions, she has the potential to do well with others. She is current on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed, and is ready to find a loving forever home of her own. If you are interested in meeting Boots, please fill out an application.

Kittens- Meet our kittens! These adorable little ones are approximately 2 months old and are ready to find loving forever homes. They are litterbox trained and spend their days doing what kittens do best, playing, exploring, climbing, and taking plenty of naps in between. Like all young kittens, they are still learning about the world around them and may be a little shy when meeting new people. Give them a little time, though, and you'll quickly discover their playful and affectionate personalities. Before long, they'll be climbing into your lap, or even up your shoulder, to be part of the action! These curious kittens love discovering new toys, exploring cat trees, and enjoying tasty treats. They have been socializing with one another and learning important kitten manners. If you have a feline friend at home, slow introductions and a safe space will help everyone adjust comfortably. Giving each cat their own area and allowing them to get acquainted at their own pace can help set them up for success. If you're looking for a playful companion, a snuggle buddy, or a little bit of both, one of these kittens could be the perfect addition to your family. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application. They can't wait to meet you and start their next adventure in a home of their own!

Meme- Meet Meme, a beautiful girl with an even sweeter personality. Meme came to us as a stray and, sadly, was never claimed, but she is more than ready to find a family that will love her forever. This affectionate girl is a total cuddle bug who loves being close to her people and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. Whether you are relaxing on the couch or moving around the house, Meme always wants to be part of the moment. Meme is also quite the chatterbox and loves to “talk” when she’s getting attention, head scratches, or extra affection. She has a playful side and enjoys being around kittens, but one of her favorite things is climbing all over her people for love and cuddles. Her goofy, loving personality makes it hard not to fall in love with her the moment you meet her. After being left behind once before, Meme deserves a home where she will be cherished for the rest of her life. She is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, completely ready to start her next chapter with a family of her own. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl the forever home she has been waiting for, please fill out an application.

This is Murphy.

For the past two months, Murphy has called the shelter home. While two months may not sound like a long time, for a dog who spends every day and every night in a kennel, it can feel like an eternity.

Murphy is an 8-year-old Red Heeler with a heart as big as his waistline. We know, a chonky boy is an adorable boy. But Murphy's weight, combined with the lack of exercise that comes with shelter life, is starting to affect him. The happy spark in his eyes is fading as he watches dog after dog leave for their forever homes while he remains behind.

We can't help but wonder why.

Murphy is everything most people say they are looking for. He's great with people, loves playing fetch, enjoys walks and hikes, and is always ready to spend time with his favorite humans. He gets along well with other dogs who respect his space and don't treat him like a jungle gym. After all, he's a distinguished older gentleman who appreciates a little personal space. Cats, however, are not his thing.

What breaks our hearts most is that Murphy is such a gentle soul. He greets us every day with a wagging tail and hopeful eyes. He's excited for his walks, grateful for every bit of attention, and never stops being kind despite being overlooked time and time again.

People often come into the shelter looking to adopt with no specific dog in mind. We suggest Murphy, and too often the response is, "Oh, no thank you." They walk away without ever giving him the chance to show them just how special he is.

Meanwhile, Murphy quietly returns to his kennel.

A senior dog should not be spending his golden years behind kennel doors. He should be stretched out on a couch, going for evening walks with his family, playing fetch in the backyard, and falling asleep knowing he's loved.

Please help us change Murphy's story. Share his photos. Share his post. Tell your friends about him. Help us find the family that will finally see what we see every day.

Murphy deserves more than a kennel. He deserves a home, a family, and the chance to spend the rest of his golden years exactly where he belongs.

Our sweet Frankie boy has found his forever family!

We are beyond excited to share this wonderful news for such a deserving dog. Many of you have followed Frankie's journey and know that he was let down time and time again through no fault of his own. Despite the disappointments he faced, Frankie never let it dim his bright spirit. He continued to greet everyone with love, kindness, and hope, always believing his perfect family was out there.

Today, we're thrilled to say that Frankie has finally found the home he has always deserved. No more shelter kennels, no more waiting, and no more wondering when his turn would come. Instead, Frankie gets to enjoy the comfort of a loving home, a family to call his own, and a future filled with happiness.

We are incredibly grateful to his new family for seeing the amazing dog that we have always known Frankie to be. Thank you for giving him the second chance he deserved and the forever home he has been waiting for.

Happy Gotcha Day, Frankie! We wish you a lifetime of love, adventures, belly rubs, and all the happiness in the world. ❤️🐾

This is Frankie. He’s had a rough start to life, but thankfully he’s safe with us now, and we’re committed to finding him the loving, stable home he truly deserves. After being adopted out by a different facility, Frankie was later rehomed when his owner could no longer care for him. Sadly, that wasn’t the end of the uncertainty, his next home turned him in as a “stray,” leaving him once again without a place to call his own. Through it all, Frankie has remained nothing but a ball of joy. He loves meeting new people, enjoys doggy friends, and is always up for a good walk. He’s playful, adores his toys, and hands out so many kisses it’s impossible not to laugh. Frankie is still unsure about cats, so a cat-free home would be the best fit for him. He’s learning new things every day and finally getting the love and care he’s always deserved. Frankie would do best with a family or individual who understands his breed and can meet both his physical and mental needs. As a husky mix, he thrives with activity and engagement, whether that’s a yard with canine friends or kids to keep him entertained, or an active person who loves adventures and wants a loyal companion to bring along. Frankie is current on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered, ready for his forever home. If you’re interested in giving this resilient boy the fresh start he’s been waiting for, please fill out an application. We do require all resident dogs to be present at the meet and greet.

Meet Murphy. An 8-year-old boy who was dumped, and never looked for again. When Murphy first came in, he was scared and confused. You could see it in his eyes, like he was trying to understand what he did wrong to lose everything he knew. But even then, he chose to be gentle. He leaned into the care, quietly accepting the love we gave him. Murphy is a very sweet, soft-hearted dog who just wants a safe place to belong. He does well with other dogs and would likely thrive with a calm canine companion, but he can get overwhelmed if he feels crowded. He’s treat-motivated, enjoys his walks, and after just a few minutes with you, his shy walls start to come down, and you see just how special he is. Murphy would do best in a gentle, quieter home that understands he’s not a young dog anymore. He needs respectful children who can give him space, and a cat-free home, as he tends to chase them. More than anything, Murphy needs stability. A place where he won’t be forgotten again. He’s not asking for much, just consistency, kindness, and someone who will stay. After everything he’s been through, Murphy deserves a real forever home. He is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home. If you’re interested in meeting Murphy, please fill out an application. We do require all family dogs to be present during his meet and greet to ensure the best fit for everyone.
