USU Extension is excited to offer a FREE Parenting the Love and Logic Way workshop on June 10th! While childcare is not provided during the workshop, it will be held at the same time as a fun-filled Carbon County 4-H Day Camp for youth ages 8+.

We are excited to announce Kristalyn Hepworth as our new Emery County Prevention Coordinator for the Be Epic, Escape the V**e youth prevention program. Kristalyn grew up in Helper, and now resides nearby in Price with her husband and four children. She earned her bachelorβs degree from Utah State University Eastern in 2014 and spent the next 10 years working in university recruitment, helping students explore educational opportunities and plan for their futures. She values family, community, and the close connections that come with living in a small town. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, especially camping, traveling with her family, and visiting Lake Powell whenever possible.
