It’s summer and to me that’s vintage outdoor glider and chair season! New arrivals.

New arrival from our trip to Louisiana. This narrow cupboard is a great size to fit in that difficult space! Old green paint and square nails. Planning to take it to vintage market days in May.

Almost home after 6 week buying trip in Alabama, Louisiana, Texas and New Mexico. The van is pretty full but maybe one more antique stop.

I’m on a buying trip in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and New Mexico. Here are some of our fabulous finds! We have had to sigt through so much garage sale quality junk but we have found a lot of early quality antiques and shopping round top is next. Back in late March so stay tuned!

These would be great for events like weddings, event rental businesses , large parties. They are light weight fiberglass I think. One has some damage on top as shown in the picture so it’s $40, the others are $75 each or take all 4 for $200. Can see them at cache valley antiques at 81 north Main Street. Open 11-6 Monday through Saturday. Ask at the register as they are in the basement.

So much to see and shop in the store right now. We recently bought some great items from two amazing estates. One was the best of American country antiques found in Utah. Blue cobalt crocks, wooden butter stamps, toleware, authentic old splinter baskets, needlework samplers, antique painted furniture, American pewter, hand wrought iron lighting and cookware, whale oil lamps and more. The other estate was more formal we bought bronzes, French clocks, porcelain, capodimonte, miniature paintings, and bohemian glass. We also bought a ton of cast iron cookware including some unusual Utah pieces like a university of Utah medical school Dutch oven and some Utah redware crocks. And as always we have great books, a top notch vinyl record collection and some great early lithographs. Hope to see you soon.
