So proud to see this spring to life in Little Rock! Such a special place!!

Tuesday was a very special day at Providence Park as we welcomed our fourth neighbor, Ms. Jo Ann, into her new home.

Originally from Louisiana, Jo Ann made her way to Arkansas more than three years ago. During that time, she experienced chronic homelessness while living in Little Rock. Yet even without a permanent place to call home, she remained committed to serving others.

Every week, Jo Ann volunteered with Vine and Village, helping provide meals and support to hundreds of people in our community. Her dedication to giving back never wavered, and we're excited that this new chapter won't change that. The Providence Park team will help coordinate transportation so she can continue doing the work she loves alongside the Vine & Village team.

As we got to know Jo Ann, we learned that she played basketball in high school, counts Colorado among her favorite places she's visited, and has a soft spot for cheesecake and butter pecan ice cream.

One of the most powerful things she's shared with us so far is this: "Lots of people tell you, 'I got you,' but if you don't have yourself, you have nothing. You have to love yourself first before you can give love to other people."
