A perfect day to have Warwick 5th graders at Millport for Watershed Awareness Day!

20th year for Fly on the Run which benefits the Lancaster County Career and Technology students. A huge success and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day! Thank you to all the sponsors, participants,staff and students! It was a perfect day at Millport!

The stream is closed. No fishing till Friday, May 8th

Millport celebrated Earth Day all week! Invasive species were replaced with native trees. All ages participated! Thanks to River Stewards and their continued volunteer work. Conestoga Valley High School students studied the stream and surrounding environment. The restoration site was planted with hundreds of native species. An intro to fly fishing class was with class instruction and then out on the stream. And, there were many who just enjoyed walking the trails and welcoming Spring.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who participated in our annual Clean Up Day! Students from Conestoga Valley and Warwick and members of the Lititz Ladies Lions Club all eagerly joined us to gather trash. Many thanks to teachers Jim Hovan, Lisa Hochreiter and Tom Care who are always supporting their students! It’s a beautiful day at Millport!
