Thousands flocked to downtown Lititz on May 10 for a community celebration and to be part of the Lancaster County town’s attempt to break into the Guinness Book of World Records for the most people wearing sunglasses at night.

Rain cut the evening short, causing a postponement of the record-breaking effort.

The event has been rescheduled for 8:45 p.m. Friday, June 14, as part of the town’s June Second Friday activities. Do you plan to be in the square singing Corey Hart's 1980s song, "Sunglasses at Night," on Friday night? The Lancaster County borough will supply the sunglasses.
