The Roost Ranch

Thank you Cambridge for a fantastic 23-24 school year. We can't wait to see you all for an even better 24-25 school year!

Just another moment of clarity… 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤣😂 Enjoy your ☕️☕️☕️ folks and have an awesome day!!!

Quick question for you guys that have been to the airport lately, we are headed to Cabo for Jason’s Birthday🎉
This new face scanning thing- do you comply or not? Just curious. I chose not to- Jason was fine with it. What about you?

Yesterday I made pine cone jam, fermented pine soda, homemade Pine-Sol, and popcorn ice cream (topped with crackerjacks and Carmel) Productive day!

Today is Nolan’s Birthday!🎉 23 years of loving this awesome young man.
He just graduated and is working at Camp Barnabas for one more summer before he starts his job. So he is not here with us🥲 I am sad to not be with him on his birthday, but we will celebrate him when he gets back!

Two new black Angus calves born in the last month- so cute!
One of the babies is “Chip” born from my mom’s cow Mrs. Potts.

Today I used some of the zucchini from my garden, wild blackberries from our property, and blueberries we picked this weekend. This is what I made and they were all delicious!

Between having to get permits for all the coops plus fencing permits for the attached runs plus a farm use affidavit in AG-1 plus permits for other types of builds it’s getting ridiculous. We own our land yet have to pay for permits to build chicken coops 🥴

Yep
