We are so saddened to hear about the passing of legend George J. Dunster. We were so blessed to have our inaugural production of Cabaret at the Ohio Theatre directed by George. His attention to detail, care for each character and love for sharing the true intention of the story was the hallmark of George's directing. Much love to his family and friends -- the theater community is truly in mourning. George -- you certainly made Life More Beautiful!

We are very sorry to announce that we will be postponing Octopus Productions' COVID Cabaret. After discussing the recent rise in cases in Allen County, we feel we must respect health and safety recommendations. We will perform this concert when it is appropriate to perform this material. There is a quote of "Tragedy plus time equals comedy" -- More time is needed.
Merry Christmas from Octopus Productions and Modo Media
While we were sad to not be able to bring you our annual Christmas Cabaret, we wanted to produce something for the Lima Area this year. Thank you to Karin Dorsey, Cody Ridenour and Seth (Nancy) Kunkleman for performing this beautiful piece. We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

So apparently we weren't kidding last year when we asked you to Hold on for Deer Life for our Annual Christmas Cabaret! 2020 has been quite a ride -- We're asking you to hold on one more year for the 2021 Christmas Cabaret 😥 But in the meantime, support our friends at the Lima Symphony Orchestra for their Bells, Brass & Bows concert with Maestro Andrew Crust. You can view it safely from your car at the Van Del Drive-In Theater, Saturday, December 12th at 6pm or stream it from your home! It's a beautiful presentation of The Nutcracker with dancers from the Cincinnati Ballet Professional Training Division and singers from the Liberty Arts Magnet at the Lima City Schools. Tickets can be purchased at limasymphony.com. We'll see you next year!

You can continue to donate on their website limaciviccenter.com -- Here is the video that played last evening during the 8pm hour. Proud to be a part of the arts community here in Lima and to help

Anthems for Corona brought to you by Young Frankenstein the musical 😂😂
It's so hard to put into words when a member of your theater family leaves so suddenly. So we'll say it in pictures, video and the beautiful sounds that Richard Lee provided us over the years. As the Emcee in Cabaret says, "Even the Orchestra is Beautiful" and Rick, you certainly made our lives better and more beautiful. Much love to Kristin, Ricky and Kyra. Rest well our friend.
