We are thrilled you're at Ohio State Lima for your 25th Annual Art of Gardening Conference. Silver anniversaries are a big deal, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a day dedicated to growth, community and the science of a green thumb.

Whether you’re here to master your raised beds, dive into the fun and function of plant names, learn the essential basics of plant propagation, discover more about native plants, or just soak up the wisdom of your fellow gardeners, we hope you find plenty of inspiration today! At Ohio State Lima’s Engineering Discovery Day, we saw future engineers diving headfirst into the world of problem-solving. From hands-on demonstrations to engaging with industry leaders, these students learned that engineering isn't just about formulas. It’s about the mindset of curiosity and determination you bring to the table.

"A photographic archive is a collection, but it's also something we act upon. Something we enter, question and shape. To work in an archive is not to retrieve the past intact, it is to ask questions of what remains, to notice what is centered and what is peripheral, what is named and what is not, what is preserved and what is lost. It is to attend to a photograph surface and to notice what else it asks us to discover."

In a world increasingly dominated by all things digital, Ohio State Lima alumni, faculty and staff will be reaching out this spring with something a little more old school – handwritten notes. Alumni and friends are invited to join us for a Postcard Palooza at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, March 12 in the Cloyd Commons in Galvin Hall. RSVP by March 6.

From health and culture to financial wellness, our spring lineup has something for everyone. Plus, this year is extra special as we dive into history to celebrate two major milestones: the 250th birthday of the US and Ohio State Lima's 65th anniversary.

Ohio State Lima turns 65 this year and we're opening the photo archives for a visit from Ohio State's Artist Laureate Kate Shannon at 12:40 p.m., Thursday, March 5 in the Webb. Shannon will discuss how to use historical photos in teaching, research and creative work. Free and open to all.

Engineering Discovery Day is a great opportunity for students interested in pursuing engineering after high school to learn more about the engineering programs offered at Ohio State, including the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology that can be completed entirely in Lima.
