Praise Church

Picture this. Someone had been saying “I’m fine” all week.

Fine at work.
Fine around family.
Fine when people asked how she was doing.

But she was tired. Not the kind of tired that sleep fixes, the kind where your heart has been carrying too much for too long.

Then someone hugged her.

No big speech. No perfect advice. Just someone saying, “You don’t have to carry this by yourself. I’m praying with you.” And for the first time all week, she let herself cry.

Sometimes God’s love looks like a prayer. Sometimes it looks like someone staying beside you. Sometimes it looks like a hug that reminds you that you are seen, you are loved, and you are not alone.

Be that person for somebody today. 💜

We are so Grateful and excited for what God is doing at Calvary Chapel of PRAISE Church! 🧡

🍂 As the leaves begin to change and we see the signs of a new season all around us, our hearts are filled with Thanksgiving, for the season of restoration and renewal the Lord is bringing to Praise Church!

The outside has been freshly painted, work is continuing inside, and we are watching God breathe fresh life into this house. 🙏

We are so grateful for every person who has prayed, given, worked, served, and believed with us. There is still more to come, but today we’re simply stopping to say, “Thank You to those standing with us and most of all to our precious Lord, for what You are doing in your church and in our lives! It’s all for you, Jesus!”

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:19

The building is being restored, but even more importantly, God is continuing to restore, renew, and form a people for His PRAISE.

🍂 It is a New season and God is moving in our midst! The abundant rain is coming! All Praise and Glory belong to Him!

Pumpkin Fest is happening this Sunday, October 11, and this is your reminder to make room on the calendar!

Right after church, we’re keeping the day going with chili, hot dogs, Coney dogs, pumpkin desserts, warm c***r, games, pumpkin painting, and plenty of time to laugh and connect with each other.

And if your chili recipe always gets people asking for seconds, this is your sign to enter the Chili Cook-Off. 🌶️🔥

Sometimes the most honest prayer is simply, “Lord, I need You.”
Prayer may not always change the situation instantly, but it keeps your heart connected to the One who can carry you through it.

So today, do not overthink it. Just talk to God. 💜

Do you feel a little lighter when you stop focusing on everything going wrong and start focusing on who God is? That is what worship does.

We sing because He is faithful. We lift our hands because we trust Him. We praise because Jesus is still greater than whatever we are facing.

Worship is a reminder to your soul that God is still good, still present, and still worthy. Come ready to praise with us this Sunday. 💜
