I was born in Lima and am a lifelong resident. I love our community and will bring a fresh set of eyes to the mayor's office. I am going to give them the chance!

As Mayor I will be pro-growth with investment in three key areas: Essential Services, Our Economy, and Investment in our People. I made the decision to run for mayor because Lima needs a change. It has been going down the same path for 30 years and it will continue to do so unless we bring in a fresh set of eyes, new ideas, a different perspective on how to help Lima ensure a great future. Fun History Lesson about Lima’s oldest operating Shay Locomotive!! 🚂.

On this day, 116 years ago, West Virginia Pulp and Paper made a purchase that was needed at the time of the new operation of Cass. The new town of Cass came to be on May 24, 1900 and only 5 years later the company purchased an 80-3 ton Shay engine that still operates the mountain today.
Legendary Shay 5 is the oldest operating Shay engine in existence still on the same track it was built for. Shay 5 came to Cass under her own power from Lima Locomotives, Lima Ohio on November 1, 1905 and has never left this operation. Shay 5 is also the official steam engine of West Virginia.
Congratulations and Thank you to all of the crews over her 116 years that have kept her operating.
So, wherever you may be today, make sure you wish Shay 5 a Happy 116th birthday.

I have made a conscious effort to buy local whenever possible during my campaign. As your next mayor, I will support Lima's small businesses because they are the backbone of our community.

The best part about campaigning is traveling around Lima meeting my neighbors and telling them about the real change I plan to bring to our city.
