Looking for another big hoo on the backside of this moon. I see that a few boats already got tight today. Bonitas and tunas are also biting which means the big hoo is lurking. 👀 It’s on! Check out this fish being caught on the recent Crew Platform film “Planer Fishing for Wahoo.”

My arm is going to fall off! The trip of a lifetime for sure. Captain Kody and Taylor thank you so much for one of the best bottom fishing experiences of my life. I learned so much on this trip. These guys think outside the box and put in ridiculous effort. More than that they are fantastic people! We were commercial fishing this day as they have the permits. They also do charters which I would highly suggest for anybody looking to catch any these special fish. Reach out to to book a special trip.
While trolling today we found a turtle caught up in the netting on a longliner flag here in Costa Rica. Set it free. Happy turtle!

What a fight!!! This morning in 90 feet of water on the short planer! As I pulled off the planer to check the bait, this wahoo smashed the bait half out of the water on top and started screaming!!! We inched him in while he was just swimming on the leader. Never gets old!!! Fifty pounder. Thank you Lord for another wonderful gift!!!!
