Just thought I'd put this out there, as I had a person commenting on my last post that a tent is a lot cheaper (for sure: like $199 at a lot of places!) and that our trailers are not "bear proof, either." Pretty much nothing is "bear proof", but our trailers are 3/4" exterior grade plywood, with 24 gauge steel flashing on the exterior. The roof is 040 aluminum over 2x4 ribs and hardboard underlayment. We do not include a kitchen, because with one, now you smell like bacon, or whatever you cooked last, luring the bears in. We recommend not cooking in your trailer, especially here in Montana where the grizzlies are present. The trailers are certainly beefy enough to slow a bear down long enough to grab your rifle or your pistol! I am really not trying to sell you on one of these, but these comments are public, and explaining to anyone reading this, that while not completely "bear proof", they are certainly an upgrade from a tent, and accepted by the National Parks for camping, which a tent more and more is not. That said, regarding bear proofing, if anyone is interested in some very amusing YouTube videos, here is how, as a cooler manufacturer, these coolers can be certified as "bear proof": enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAi9QdqUAaw Here is another: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCSGijd0HbU

Rainy Spring weather, but it means the snow is gone. About time to start thinking about some camping! What would you like on YOUR trailer? Lots of options available: this unit has a passenger side box (customer is using it as his kitchen), a 8.3 gallon waterport on the driver's side, 8x8 ARB awning, 2-bar roof rack and a 48" UWS tongue box up front!

Nothing fancy, but it does what you need it to do: place to sleep, place to haul your gear. Awning for shade, roof rack for cargo, tongue box for extra storage, cubbyhole storage for incidentals (your glasses, the book you are reading, maybe an adult beverage for the evening!) Takes a queen sized mattress. 3 to 4 week lead time, choose your own options: www.sherpatrailers.com
