Fisher River Valley Fire/Rescue

October 4th- October 10th is National Fire Prevention Week. This year we focus on Safe Charging on everyday charging habits that can help reduce the risk of lithium battery fires.

Fisher River Valley Fire/Rescue and Marion Fire respond to a reported wildland grass fire on Thompson River Rd. Good reminder not to leave fires unattended! It is still very dry out there.

Fall open burning is now open and runs from October 1 through November 30. No burn permit is required during this period.
Fisher River Valley Fire/Rescue asks that when you burn please burn responsibly. Always have water available and never leave fire unattended.

Flu shot clinic is set for Saturday October 10th from 10-12 at the Fisher River Valley Fire Community Center.

Smoke is visible to the south. It is coming from the Marmot Peak Fire down in Sanders County. No concerns for our area. This does give a good indication of how dry it is out there. Please be responsible with fire.

Fisher River Valley Fire/Rescue honors and remembers the brave first responders of 9/11 who lost their lives helping others.

Twenty-five years after Sept. 11, 2001, we pause to remember the lives lost, honor the first responders and service members who answered the call, and recognize the resilience of a nation forever changed by that day.

The legacy of 9/11 lives not only in remembrance, but in the generations of Americans who chose service, sacrifice and commitment to something greater than themselves.

Today, we honor the fallen, those who responded in our nation’s darkest hours, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

With no significant growth or concerns, we won't provide further updates unless something changes.

Latest update for Deer Creek Fire. There is a new start on Murr Creek.
