Operation Sprout

So many prayers for Manny Caulk’s friends, family, and coworkers. This year has been simply beyond tough-leaving us all to wonder what we can do to help our grieving community. Now more than ever-please support your schools, leaders, teachers, and especially small businesses. I know Amazon is easy, but if we all shop and eat small...lives will be changed. Be the change.

So many small businesses (and families) we love are certainly feeling a bit like Mr. Big. We look so forward to better times ahead, and will do all we can at Sprout to help our community grow when the time is right. I have no doubt that this young man will do GREAT things with his life! He initiated this playground renovation for ALL students at LME by speaking with Mrs. Housekeeper about the limitations he and many fellow classmates face on the current playground. We are so excited to Sprout with these kiddos over the next few weeks...out of all we’ve helped fund (Chromebooks, computer labs, smart boards, general PTA budgets), this is by far our very FAVORITE cause. @ Lemons Mill Elementary

Today we rewarded the top class at Rosa Parks, but truth is they rewarded us! This group encouraged each other, learned how to pull a bow and release an arrow, and had a great time. These third graders were so patient with one another and got sooooo good at archery...and that example was led by their magnificent teacher! She was so flexible with scheduling, taught up until the minute it was time to go...man! She tried for quite a while before she got it, but once she did, even my t**h was a target! @ Rosa Parks Elementary School

SPROUT DAY RAISES MONEY FOR NEW PLAYGROUND AT HUNTERTOWN

THREE COMFORT RETRIEVERS, a specialized breed of dog raised at GoldenQuest in Woodford County, participated in Sprout Day at Huntertown Elementary School, and showed students how they can reduce anxiety in people. Each of the schools we’ve been blessed to work with has its own culture, and its own vibe. We knew when we first met the amazing administrators at Rosa Parks, their focus was family. And that is EXACTLY what Rosa Parks is...a large, loving family. This community was the most mannerly, most well run place. The kids are SO LOVED, and still held to high standards. We are blown away at the all-in effort of all students and staff...and the gratitude they had at every station and for every reward. Huge thanks to the volunteers, too! RPE is certainly 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, and Sprout was so thankful to be a part of this amazing group of people for a short bit of time.
