Critter Camp is just around the corner!

Our first session kicks off next Monday, June 15th, and there's still a little time left to snag a spot for your young animal lover's summer adventure!

While both of our 9–12 year old sessions are officially SOLD OUT, we still have a few openings remaining for 5–8 year olds next week, along with several spots available in our July session.

Critter Camp gives kids the chance to go behind the scenes at the shelter, meet amazing animals, enjoy hands-on activities, and learn about kindness, compassion, and responsible pet care. 🐶🐱🐰🐢

We know it's June, but there's just something about August... 😉🐈

This adorable 12-week-old Calico is everything that makes a kitten great. Whether she's investigating a new toy or curling up for a nap, August is sure to make a sweet addition to any cat-obsessed family.

Adoption fees for kittens at our Everyday Adoption Center are just $99 as we work through kitten season and help these little ones find loving homes!

🧶🐱 Crochet, cats, and a chill Sunday afternoon? Count us in!

Join us for Cats & Crafts next Sunday, June 14, from 12–1 PM in the LHS Habicattery! This month, we'll be making crochet crafts, and whether you've never picked up a crochet hook before or you've been stitching for years, there's a project for you. Participants will be able to choose from crochet projects at different skill levels, so you can create something that fits your experience and comfort level.

Not into crochet? No problem! You can still grab a Paws & Projects ticket and bring your own craft to work on while spending time with our adoptable cats.

Learn something new, get creative, and enjoy an hour surrounded by feline friends.

ADOPTION SUCCESS! ❤️🐾

"Grace has been such a wonderful addition to our family! We are so grateful to have met her and to have her in our home. She is such a breath of fresh air!

She has since been renamed Aughra (a character from Dark Crystal). Aughra is such a character and a sassy lady! As the days go on (and the weight drops), she has become more and more energetic and full of life. She loves chewing on her chew bones and sticks, playing fetch, and has been playing for longer stretches at a time! She will stomp her feet and go 'ra ra ra' when she’s wanting some extra pets, and she’s a big fan of every human she meets. She has yet to meet someone she doesn’t like AND she is absolutely in love with our vet staff.

Miss Aughra has been learning some new tricks as well! She knows how to sit and lay down, and she’s currently working on her wait cue and doing fantastic. She’s an intelligent lady who learned her new name quickly and responds to a recall as fast as her legs will take her!

She has been enjoying her new siblings, too. Jack has been showing her the joys of the pool (though she has yet to trust his judgment), and he happily runs alongside her during games of fetch. Harlow has introduced her to life on the couch, and the two will happily chew side-by-side. They all fit together in their own way, and we adore each of their quirks.

Here’s to learning more about her personality in the coming months!

Yes, Lisa Turtle. IYKYK. Unlike her fashionable namesake from Saved by the Bell, this stunning slider prefers basking spots over Bayside High and a perfectly maintained habitat over the latest trends.

Lisa Turtle is looking for a home with someone who understands that turtles aren't beginner pets. They require specialized care, proper lighting, appropriate housing, and a long-term commitment. Because of this, our Adoptions team will carefully screen potential adopters and require proof of an adequate setup before finalizing an adoption.
