ADOPTION SUCCESS! ❤️🐾

Back in April, we shared the story of a resilient little puppy we lovingly named "Mighty Mouse". Well, Mouse’s adopters recently reached out to his former foster parent, who is also on our team, to share an update on their sweet boy—and we couldn’t keep it to ourselves. Today, he’s Dash, and he’s home.

Since coming home, Dash has settled right in. He has three boxes of toys, a senior dog cousin to visit, and a puppy friend nearby for regular puppy playdates. He loves snuggles, belly rubs, playing, and even “talking” to his people. And while he loves plenty of toys, his favorite is still the little monkey he brought with him from his foster home. 🥹

After losing their 18-year-old Chihuahua last year, his adopters weren't sure when the time would feel right to welcome another rescue into their lives. But they knew Dash was the one the moment they met him. Now, they say he’s a light in their world and has already brought so much joy to so many.

This is why we do what we do. Every foster, every donation, every adoption, and every person who chooses to give an animal a chance helps make stories like Dash’s possible. 💕

Y'all, Perry has waited long enough. 😔

This sweet 3-year-old pittie boy is just a week shy of waiting 200 days for someone to take him home. He's been so patient, it hurts our hearts. An energetic, playful pup, Perry is always ready for fun—but he’s also a total snugglebug when it’s time to settle down. He’s the kind of happy, lovable guy who makes it easy to fall for him.

And right now, there’s even more reason to meet him: Perry is our newest Fritz’s Furry Friend, which means our Preferred Partners at GreenBox Home Services have covered his adoption fee! 💚

There’s a new sheriff in town. Nala is reporting for duty. 🤠

Her mission? Let no toy stand in her way.

At 111 pounds, Nala is a 5-year-old large, squishy-faced force to be reckoned with—
Under her watchful eye, all treats must be inspected immediately and every toy is to be destroyed on sight. If a pet or two happens to land on that giant noggin along the way? Well… that’s just part of the job.

Nala is so swift and vigilant that before you even have time to draw, she's already reduced every toy in the room to evidence. You’ll be standing there in a cloud of fluff, wondering what the heck just happened. Meanwhile, Nala's already onto her next suspect.

Beneath all that toy-related lawlessness and big head, though, is an even bigger-hearted gal who has been waiting for her person for over a month. Nala is also currently eligible for foster care!

Say hello to Harley! 🐾

At just 7 months old, she's already mastered the important puppy skills: being cute, making friends with every person she meets, and trying to be as close to her people as physically possible. The finer points of “please keep all four paws on the floor” are still a work in progress...

This adorable pup is intelligent, curious, and eager to learn. She’d love a patient family that can help her continue working on her manners while she grows into the wonderful dog she’s meant to be. Harley enjoys playing with other dogs, though a meet-and-greet is required, and because she can be a little jumpy and grabby in her puppy excitement, she may do best in a home with older children.

Meet Brows, a 5-year-old kitty who has mastered the art of serving face. Her gorgeous white coat comes with signature gray markings perched high on her head, giving her the faintest suggestion of... brows. Are they technically eyebrows? Debatable. Are they still fabulous? Absolutely.

Brows is a sweet girl who loves head pets, gentle affection, and being treated like the distinguished little lady she is. What she doesn’t love? Living in a feline-filled social experiment. 😅

She’s currently hanging out in our Cattery with several other cats, but Brows would prefer a quieter situation. Honestly, we get it. She has places to be and important matters to discuss. Like being perched upon your vanity, debating which blush best complements your cheekbones, sharing unsolicited opinions, and strategizing the downfall of the catriarchy. 💅😉
