Bravo to 140 years! 🎉
Symphony of Sound this past weekend celebrated nearly a century and a half of the Lexington Opera House featuring our longtime collaborators The Lexington Singers, Kentucky violinist Tessa Lark, and of course, your LexPhil musicians conducted by Music Director Mélisse Brunet.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this perfect encore to a 64th season full of music, community, and joy.

Tessa Lark, y’all! 👏🎻
While back in the Bluegrass, Lark spent the first half of the evening performing Michael Torke’s Sky Concerto before deciding to jump into the LexPhil string section for a quick lil jaunt through Beethoven.
Tessa, it’s been so great to have you back home. 💙
