Visiting Dudley’s is always a treat and after serving Lexington for 45 years, you know they are doing a LOT right!
Truth be told, I’ve never experienced their rooftop and I can’t believe what I was missing! Tucked between taller buildings on three sides, giving it lots of comfy shade, we discovered a spectacular hideaway! Deep red Mandevilla trumpet flowers surrounded the brick walls while the bistro lights created a special ambiance.
Next time I visit Dudley's On Short , which will be soon, you can bet I’ll be relaxing on their rooftop again drinking in all those good vibes!

🏇🏻We celebrated newly weds at the Origin Hotel Lexington at Fritz Farm with a Kentucky Derby themed dinner. The ladies wore fascinators, we created derby candles and Hope Damron created beautiful red rose wreaths. 🌹We loved the Kentucky bourbon barrels as a backdrop for photos. 🥃
Can you believe the bourbon themed cake?!! It turned out incredible by Sugar And Lace Bakery
One of the most loved musicals, Les Misérables, is performed by The Lexington Theatre Company at the Lexington Opera House July 9th through July 12th.
The players, costumes, music, lights and set bring this tale to life while bringing audience members to laughter and tears.

🍅 Farm Fresh Caprese Breakfast Burrito 🍃
Visit the Lexington Farmers' Market for farm fresh eggs, tomatoes, basil and cheese
2 Farm Fresh Eggs
1.5 Tablespoons of milk or cream
5 Local Cherry Tomatoes
1 oz Goat Cheese
2 Fresh Basil Leaves Julianned
1 Tortilla
1/2 teaspoon Tumeric
Salt & Pepper to taste
Quarter cherry tomatoes & add to hot pan with avocado oil for 1 minute. Scramble 2 farm eggs in a bowl with milk & pour over tomatoes. Sprinkle with turmeric, salt & pepper.* While eggs are cooking, place tortilla on dry side of pan to warm it up.
Place tortilla on plate, add eggs with tomatoes, chunks of goat cheese & julienned basil. Roll & enjoy!
*Healthy bonus- Tumeric works to relieve inflammation & is enhanced when combined with cracked black pepper & consumed warm.
