The Volare String Quartet was founded in 2012 and consists of accomplished string musicians from across the United States. We specialize in providing affordable live performances for weddings, private parties, corporate events, and recitals. The quartet currently serves Lexington, Kentucky and surrounding areas. Our members have extensive performing experience giving us the ability to cater to the needs of our clients.

Our God's Pantry Food Bank donation barrel barely fits in the car! Help us fill it to the brim tonight by bringing your canned goods to Holiday Pops with Volare String Quartet at Al's Bar! The show runs from 6-8pm at Al's Bar of Lexington, is family-friendly, and features a holiday craft and card station from the Headley-Whitney Museum of Art! Admission is a canned good (or two). It's official - Opera Under the Stars is the Lexington Herald-Leader's - and your - Best Bet for a Saturday night show! Volare String Quartet goes on at 8:00pm at the MoonDance Amphitheater for a high-energy romp through classical to Cole Porter to the Cranberries.

The Volare String Quartet is ready to return to MoonDance Amphitheater for Opera Under the Stars this Saturday! We begin jamming at 7:45pm and play until the opera performances of beloved arias and duets begin at 9:00pm!
