I find inspiration in product photography. There is something about the experimenting with lighting, composition and exposure that makes it a unique challenge as a photographer.

The goal is to catch the distinct detail in the product and promote the essence of its packaging in such a way that its quality is implied through the image.

I am eager to improve in my product photography.

I began refereeing at Hoop Dreams March of this year.

It was not long before I realized it is much more than a basketball gym. Hoop Dreams is a community. It is a place where kids, regardless of their background, can learn the game of basketball from professional coaches who have a deep understanding of the game.

I watch the kids improve more every time I see them and it fills me with hope for their generation. Mike Scott, the proprietor of Hoop Dreams, is a great man and an exceptional basketball mind. He has something truly special going on there.

I do not know much about him other than that he shows up at the gym every morning at 6 am, no questions asked. I watch him hit every rep like something is chasing him. His ferocious intensity inspires me to attack my day with focus and drive.
