CCHS STLP

We would like to give a shout-out to Mr. Fremin for his work in making a display board for the state STLP competition next month! The Panther Paws STLP group is very thankful for your time in putting this together!

These students are working hard preparing for STLP regionals!

Congratulations to Jenna Switzer, Angel Snow
and Molly Thompson for their second place finish in the Sphero Hero competition!

S/O 👏👏👏 to these students who have been working very hard these past few days preparing for the upcoming Sphero Hero STLP competition. Sphero Hero is all about a team of students creating an original (short) dramatic story, creating an obstacle course as the stage for their story, and programming a Sphero robot to navigate the stage autonomously while narrating their tale to judges.

The CCHS Panther Paws STLP group is seeking donations of kitty litter, puppy pads, blankets and toys to help support our local animal hospital. During lunch this week, students can participate in Pawsitive Pupper Pics where they will have the opportunity to take a picture with one of the staff's dogs for 50 cents or they may choose to make a dog rope toy using provided materials. All pictures taken will be printed and given to the students. Additionally, all money raised from this project will benefit our local animal hospital.

Dandi and Matias have been working hard at their design of a futuristic school in Minecraft. They have spent many hours after school working on this model and have completed lots of research in support of their design!

Shout-out to STLP members Sarah Marshall and Henry Kwok for their assistance today with recording the production of “Little Women!”

Congratulations to those students who competed in the virtual regional STLP showcase competition as the results are in and ALL of the CCHS student projects have qualified for state!

All of the regional showcase projects have been submitted!
