Fulfillment isnāt always excitement. Dogs also benefit from learning how to settle, follow direction & co exist calmly without constantly being entertained.
Often humans think constant excitement and play make dogs happy.
Practicing these skills will help create a well balanced dog.

Hey Shawn! I know I'm hormonal lol.. but I could cry.
I just wanted you to know, today I decided to try and take Storm and Colter on a solo walk together. I was a little nervous to do so but Storm walks so good with me I figured let's give it a whirl. He DID NOT
disappoint!! He was absolutely perfect! One small mishap where he saw someone we would see a lot on our walks and he pulled to say hi, but as soon as I voiced "Storm Sit" he did. I could not be more proud!!
One of the biggest things for me with training was being able to walk with Storm at any time and having control, so THANK YOU!!..while we still have
work to do, I'm so proud and happy to share this with you!!

These are the moments that make all the patience, consistency, and hard work worth it. Watching a dog finally exhale, let their guard down, and simply feel safe is everything.

A fulfilled dog is a happy dog. There are some common misconceptions by humans on what makes a dog happy and fulfilled
Humans - Lots of affection, cuddles, toys, treats, and a big backyard equal a happy, fulfilled dog.
Nature- Dogs also need purposeful movement, exploration, boundaries, and opportunities to use their instincts
