The fall brings us an opportunity for transition into a more introspective space - a time for renewal. It is a symbolic time of year when we get to reflect on where we are in life, where we want to go, and how we want to get there. Often times, solo rides can be a conduit for this renewal - one pedal stroke at a time. The urge to go fast is replaced by the desire to just be.

Scouting is one of the more enjoyable aspects of a gig that mostly involves being on a computer. Seeing places in person you’ve read about and even written about is quite rewarding. thanks to and for the companionship and tomfoolery.

We will ride some new and tried and true Unroad sectors before returning to some Rouleur Beer and a food truck for sustenance.

Cruising around Downtown LFK I was able to find some interesting art and elements of the city that I find to be rather interesting. Can’t wait for the Unroad Expo and BWR this weekend. The course is insane.

More from the nyc art walk. This from Bushwick. In art, smoking initially symbolised death, but came later to symbolise modernity, youth and nervous excitement. In literature, smoking is often used to evoke individuality and eccentricity, as is the case with Sherlock Holmes. It didn’t take a PI to find this not so hidden gem.

The NYC art walk continues as I wander back and forth between Columbia and NYU. I most appreciate the breaking from traditional practices and the hybrid of many styles, scale and spray paint.
