WE DID IT! We officially have a collective bargaining resolution with LCPS!

LEA is rallying at tonight’s school board meeting. School board members are expected to vote on a collective bargaining resolution.

Great turnout for the LEA representative training this morning at The Branch in Leesburg.

Our LEA Board of Directors unwinding after a productive day of working on planning out the exciting next steps for our union.

Today at New employee orientation we have thousands of donated books organized by grade level. In the past we have had books left over, if you are in the area, then stop by the Cafeteria at Independence HS.

VEA is proud to provide mini-grants to support members’ innovations designed to improve student learning! We invite you to submit your proposal for a 2024 VEA Fall mini-grant for any amount up to $500. Applications will be open July 15 – September 17.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow retired educators, share memories, and enjoy a delightful afternoon together.
