HI THERE! Been a while. We are still at the shop working on your Miatas. This NB1 was towed in as a crank/no start that turned out to be low compression. A healthy donor was sourced, serviced, resealed, and installed along with a brand new Robbins Auto Top soft top! It’s back on the road to zoom zoom once again.

THIS is what peak track performance looks like. Just a Miata with coilovers, 15x8s, and sticky tires. Rachel’s nb2 came in for an oil leak repair, install, and MS3 install along with tune. It’s out at this weekend for Hibernation Hustle!

The look of a fresh soft top never gets old! Hunter brought his “Hakuna Miata” in for a top install, a Denso fuel pump, and some diag for an oil burning issue.

LIFTED MIATA? This certainly isn’t the way to do it. Aaron had his suspension replaced with new Bilsteins and when he got the car back it was sitting too high, rode terribly, and you could hear the suspension clanking around. We found that the top hat had not been tightened down to the shock correctly, and the spring perch was installed upside down. The other shop had cut coils off the springs in an attempt to reduce the ride height! We replaced those with good used ones from inventory and sent the car back out to be enjoyed!

Ty’s 96 STO was towed in because it would barely run, and the pop ups wouldn’t operate correctly on the driver side. The running issue was due to a fuel pump replacement performed by a different shop - they did not secure the feed hose to the pump properly, nor did they use hose rated to be submerged in gasoline! The fuel pump was barely able to pick up any fuel as a result. We used proper line and secured it in the correct location for years of service. The pop up issue was a broken pin on the motor side, that had become stuck in the chassis side connector. We de-pinned the connector to remove the broken piece, and replaced the motor with a used unit from inventory to get his car back on the road asap!

Another new top, this time an EZ-on for an NC! Clay drove 4 hours from south Alabama to have his top replaced, we got it done same-day and sent him home looking fresh!

Every day can’t be turbo Miatas, but Jacob’s NA is sure fun to look at! New soft top installed here. Always impresses me how much a new top brings a car up visually. #
