Ashley by Design, is a ladies clothing boutique operated by Ashley DeRamus down syndrome advocate, her mother Connie, family friend Gary, & Amanda Mincolla her Head of Special projects and procurment seeks to provide clothing for the fashion forward young lady with Down syndrome, or special needs and ladies from small to 3x plus jewelry. Ashley, the 38-year-old fashion entrepreneur of Ashley by Design and the namesake of the Ashley DeRamus Foundation, has Down syndrome and knows how challenging it can be to find fashionable clothing that fits. The Ashley by Design debuted at the National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) Annual Convention held July 19-21, 2013 in Denver, Colo. The Ashley DeRamus Foundation, a Birmingham-based charity founded for and dedicated to the education, advancement and quality lifestyle of children and adults with Down syndrome is the home of the fashion line. Ashley and her mother Connie collaborated on the designs with the goal of creating clothes tailored for females with Down syndrome. The first collection will make its debut at the National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) Annual Convention held July 19-21, 2013 in Denver, Colo.
