update - As of 3:08 pm on Sunday June 23, 2024, the evacuation order for the OTHER side of our RV Park (Southwest of the I-5 from us) has been downgraded from an Evacuation ORDER to an Evacuation WARNING. We are not affiliated with Pyramid Lake or Los Alamos Camp Grounds and do not have any information on when they will re-open. Please contact them directly to see if they can give you more information. Pyramid Lake Store's (the store at Pyramid Lake) telephone no. is (661) 294-9403. Los Alamos Camp Grounds does not have a phone no but does have a website and it still says they are closed - https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/233283 . Pyramid Lake RV Resort has been opened the whole time as the fire stayed West of the I-5. We are grateful for all our friends in the community who prayed for our resort, and our residents and guests to be safe during the .

This male long haired chihuahua younger than one year was found by someone on the West side of the I-5 across from Pyramid Lake RV Resort. If he belongs to you, we have been told by the lady who found him that he is currently at County of Los Angeles - Castaic Animal Care Center. We hope his owners can find him. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

This is what we mean when we talk about extending kindness to those who need it, even when you don't know them.
There are currently lineman from all over the country heading to Louisiana to help restore their services. This is a TN team heading that way. Yes, they will be paid well, but they'll be working in difficult and often dangerous conditions. Most of them volunteer to go.
This is what kindness and caring for others looks like.
