El jardín. The new goal is to get will it to grow UP since there is no more room to grow out. I put in ~15 stakes today. The tomatoes are ripening, the broccoli is making a comeback, the jalapeños are kicking c**o, there is a new melon trellis and as always, the zucchini is outrageous.
Plot 13 needs to contact a botanist, or perhaps the Nobel prize and Guinness authorities because there is no logical or scientific explanation for how much food the tiny garden is producing!!
Last day in Lebanon. I leave care of Plot 13 to anyone who wants to walk by and water/weed/pick produce. Squash, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and peas are on the way with strawberries ripening daily. Thanks to anyone who helps out!!

Have some new experiments for block 13! Broccoli, cantaloupe, and a red bell pepper.
Nice week for Plot 13. High today was 88 and cloudless. Basil looks like it is making a surprise come back with new growth. Unfortunately the cantaloup seems to have taken a turn for the worse and looks to have keeled over and died. Any suggestions for what should take it's place on the plot would be appreciated. Strawberries are coming around and the tomatoes have enjoyed the warm weather. Also, cilantro has started growing along with more basil and marigolds.

Put cages over the tomatoes today. Strawberries are on their way. Weather is cloudy with a high of 61. Basil looks like its gonna die. Good thing I bought some more at Wilco today.
