This area was kindly sponsored by the Son's of the American Legion which allowed us the funds to purchase the shelter. Loran Koch and Jeff Kemper made this nice plaque to hang above the shelter in honor of this generous gift. This area is a great place for bbqs or just getting out of the elements. June 6th the drone pilots will converge on this area filling every square inch with drone equipment, tech stuff, monitors and all kinds of cool gadgets for the scheduled race that day. Come join in the fun...June 6th

At our RC flying club, we recognize that mid-air collisions can occasionally happen in this hobby — especially when multiple aircraft are sharing the sky during busy flying days.

As a club, we operate under a “no-fault mid-air collision” understanding. Pilots fly at their own risk, and while safety and communication are always expected, accidental mid-airs are considered part of the hobby and not the responsibility of any single pilot.

We encourage all members to:
• Communicate clearly while flying
• Maintain situational awareness
• Follow established field rules
• Show good sportsmanship and respect toward fellow pilots

Our goal is to keep the flying environment safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone while remembering that mutual respect is just as important as good flying skills.

Fly safe and enjoy the skies!

11 years this June I got to see my dream of a new runway come to life. This wasn't an easy task and couldn't have been done without the help of so many people. June 6th we will be having a fun fly, drone races and bbq, so please come join in... June 6th. We will post a flyer as soon as we get one.
