W**e Cake! The comforting warmth of nutmeg and the crisp, rich flavor of sherry!
This cake brings back so many wonderful memories from my childhood. It was one of my mom's favorite recipes, the one she'd pull out whenever company was coming over or when she wanted to treat our family to something special. The aroma filling the kitchen was always a sign that good times were just around the corner.
These days, my mom's memory isn't quite what it once was, which makes this recipe even more precious to me. I'm grateful to be able to keep this little piece of our family history alive and share it with others.
I hope this cake brings as much joy to your home as it has to mine, and that it becomes a cherished tradition for your family, too.
