We where doing a job for the neighbor and the homeowner came up and asked us for a bid to remove both these dead birch trees.
I dont typically budge on my price much but since I drive by these distressed trees on a regular basis I was happy to lower my price to get them on the ground at a cost the customer could afford.

We had a good idea there would be a bit of rot in this tree based on the fact there was mushrooms 🍄 growing at the base.

But this is the most significant rot I've seen in a while for a tree 🌳 with no cavities in the upper portion of the trunk.

If your tree is growing mushrooms that means there is decaying plant matter for them to feed off of and its a good idea to give a professional a call.👷‍♀️

Loading out some more monster walnuts. This tree, like most of the ones we remove had a large rot spot in the base. Fortunately the homeowner contacted us before it got so bad it fell on their home and before the rot got so bad that we couldn't do this job in exchange for the wood.
**not all walnuts are worth enough we can do the job for free but almost all of them will warrant some kind of a discount.
