One of the few photos of the golf course from the late 1950s when it was just 9 holes. Right side photo shows a small Peach tree orchard. Left side there were plentiful Pear trees! Those have gone away but are replaced by many Persimmon trees throughout the golf course. The deer love them! Be sure you know the right time to pluck one off the branch to sample it 😉
