โ€ผ๏ธHUMAN REMAINS FOUND NEAR RIO GRANDE IN LAREDOโ€ผ๏ธ

Laredo, TX โ€“ Laredo Police responded to a call regarding a deceased individual near Ruhlman Drive and Weathers Drive after U.S. Border Patrol reported the discovery of human remains along the banks of the Rio Grande.

Officers, working alongside Border Patrol agents, located skeletal remains in a brush area. Authorities also found additional items nearby, including a plastic bag containing what is believed to be Mexican currency.

The Laredo Police Departmentโ€™s Forensic Identification Services and Crimes Against Persons Unit responded to the scene, along with the Webb County Medical Examinerโ€™s Office. The area was secured overnight as investigators prepared to continue processing the scene during daylight hours.

The investigation remains ongoing.
