Yesterday LM hosted a "Conversations Worth Having" train-the-trainers certification workshop with the authors of the book Cheri Torres and Jackie Stavros. Giving Michigan librarians the tools to train fellow library staff, trustees, and community members on how to turn even the toughest conversations into opportunities for connection, trust, possibilities, and progress.

Earlier this week staff from Michigan Department of Education, Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential, and LM’s literacy teams met at the Library.

While here Matt & David gave them a tour of some of their favorite archived materials in our Martha W. Griffiths Michigan Rare Book Room.
