PRAY BEYOND YOUR OWN NEEDS
A prayer warrior becomes an intercessor.

Choose someone who cannot repay you for praying for them—and intercede for that person today.

PRAYER WARRIOR PRINCIPLE:
Prayer warriors don't only carry their own burdens.
THEY HELP CARRY THE BURDENS OF OTHERS.

LEARN TO LISTEN
Prayer isn't only talking.
Sometimes we need to become quiet before God.
Aaliyah:
"My prayer time used to sound like a shopping list.
God, please do this.
Please fix that.
Please help them.
Then one morning I stopped talking.
I opened Scripture, became quiet and asked:
'Lord, what needs to change in me?'
My prayer life became much deeper."
TODAY'S CHALLENGE:
After praying today, spend 2–3 minutes quietly reflecting on Scripture before God.
Don't rush.
SCRIPTURE:
"Be still, and know that I am God."

Speak to God.

BUILD A PRAYER LIST
Prayer becomes intentional when we remember who and what we're praying for.

Friends.
Community.
Leaders.
Michigan.
America.
Now when I say I'll pray, I mean it."

Create your first Prayer Warrior List.
Write down:
• 3 family members
• 3 friends
• Your pastor and church
• A community leader
• A Michigan leader
• A national leader
Then pray for each by name.

PRAY THE WORD
Sometimes we don't know what to pray.
That's when Scripture can become our prayer.
Sofia:
"I used to run out of things to say.
Then I started opening my Bible while I prayed.
I'd read a verse and turn it into a prayer.
Suddenly I wasn't struggling to find words.
I was praying God's Word back to Him."
TODAY'S CHALLENGE:
Read Psalm 23 slowly. After each verse, stop and turn its truth into a personal prayer.

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH GOD
We schedule what matters to us. Prayer shouldn't continually receive whatever time is left over.
