This summer a local rising senior spent his summer raising funds for and creating 50 well-stocked, at home first aid kits for CWS clients. When he first emailed us about them, he explained, "from my experience working with you in the past, I understand that having access to these basic medical supplies can be really helpful and can help avoid stressful situations as families settle into their new home and life." We are so grateful to this community member who cares and supports our neighbors!

CWS Lancaster's Immigrant Children's Program team of attorneys and accredited representatives currently provides legal representation to more than 200 unaccompanied children, helping them navigate a complex immigration system and pursue safety, stability, and a future free from fear.

Without adequate legal counsel, the futures of more than 20,000 unaccompanied children across the US will hang in the balance.

Today on national we would like to highlight our pre-literacy ESL class who came together to help one of our amazing volunteers build a new shed. This new shed will hold cardboard from deliverers to our food pantry until we are ready to recycle it. Many of our deliveries come from our amazon donations, if you would also like to send us a donation check out our amazon storefront link in the bio!

Today we received close to 500lbs of cherry tomatoes straight from the field! These will be distributed to our food pantry clients over the next week. We are so excited because tomatoes are such a staple food in the diets of our clients, and fresh tomatoes are a sign of a good summer here in Lancaster County! We are grateful to the for the donation and we look forward to more collaborations!

Join us in congratulating four of our youth mentees for graduating high school!

To be part of the youth mentoring program these young teens had to arrive in the US in the last 5 years and work with a local mentor to achieve individualized goals. They have navigated and overcome so much, we were honored to celebrate their success!

A big thank you to the 11 donors who made our June Food Drive such a success! We had a total of 163 families visit our food pantry in June.

The food pantry has become a place where our clients and neighbors have found support, hope and friendship.

If you missed this one, be on the look our for our next food drive!

Last Saturday, neighbors from five counties across Central PA came together to Rise Up for Refuge, bringing their solidarity and commitment to ensuring communities of welcome for refugees and immigrants.

From powerful testimonies to deep conversations and bold next steps, this was more than an event—it was a glimpse of what’s possible when we show up for one another.

Thank you for being part of this movement. The work continues, together in faith and rooted in love.
