The E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for maintaining the e-commerce websites including processing and receiving orders, customer service and writing item descriptions. This job includes heavy email and direct telephone correspondence. The E-Commerce Specialist is also accountable for checking the internet sites each day and in making adjustments as necessary regarding inventory and content.

The E-Commerce Specialist identifies merchandise to list, tests and cleans merchandise, writes descriptions of merchandise for online websites and responds to customer e-mails promptly. The E-Commerce Specialist processes E-Commerce sales, packages and ships merchandise daily. In addition, the E-Commerce Specialist ensures the accuracy and completeness of orders and maintains a professional and productive work environment.

The E-Commerce Specialist will be responsible for driving performance in stores by:

• Increasing internet sales
• Improving customer feedback ratings/reviews

Critical and Essential Tasks

Knowledge of E-commerce marketing and keyword relevance to items sold through various online sources is required
Complete on-line sales by listing and removing product, answering emails and shipping the products. This is completed by:

• Scanning and pricing items accordingly for sale
• The ability to take pictures and upload quality images that adhere to Smart Financial Operations standards
• Processing customer transactions promptly and accurately
• Providing a friendly, courteous, respectful customer service environment.
In addition, the E-Commerce Specialist must:
• Have a proven track record of exceeding quotas in accountability-based culture
• Possess a solid knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook
• Be detail oriented, have good organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Be proficient in written and verbal communication
• Have knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise
• Must have the ability to work alone with minimal supervision

• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and regulations

Qualifications and Skills

As a Sales & Lending Team Member, you must be highly self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality and a strong work ethic. It is also important that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in order to effectively communicate product information and specifications. You must be able to work well independently as well as with a team, with a strong ability to multitask. Excelling at customer service and relationship building will take you far in your career with Pawn Plus.

Requirements for the Sales & Lending Associate role include:
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Ability to offer and describe various solutions and their benefits to the customer
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools or electronics, a plus
• Sales background, a plus
