There's some scary stuff out there...👻☠️
Today we did a big install of over 60 pieces of art we created for the Venture X Coworking space in Greenwich, CT! As part of the interior design, we picked out all the fixtures, finishes, etc, but we couldn't quite find the right art.
So, we combed through digital archives, finding maps, old photographs of the area, even vintage ads for the nuts and bolts factory that used to operate on this site! Then, we worked with a printer and framer to produce all 60 pieces...and today we installed them!
Didn't get too many closeups because it was a busy day...we'll share more soon...!
This was a really cool service to offer this client, and we'd love to do it on future projects as well.

Founded officially on 15 April 2014, we're very proud of the work we've done and the relationships we've forged over the years. Only a small percentage of small businesses make it past 10 years, and we're going strong...because of all of you!

How to...work in a really old house, preserve details, and also make new/modern design moves! You don't have to imitate what you find in an old house - what is new can be new, and what is old can be old. But, we believe that what is old should be respected!

When working in older homes, especially ones as old as the Stone House - nearly 300 years! - it's important to decide what to keep as-is, what to restore, and what to completely modernize.
In this project, we generally took a very light approach, gently editing the space so as not to ruin the layers of history, color, and texture.
Also, of course, shoutout to Pepper, who just had to be center of attention [as usual]...!
